Ian Clemens

Chief Technology Officer

Ian Clemens is the Chief Technology Officer for IDV Solutions. In this role, he spearheads the vision for IDV's technology and products. Bringing more than 15 years of experience in the technology and consulting industries, he oversees research, product development, and technology strategy.

Ian is an expert in interactive data visualization, location intelligence and business intelligence software, and has authored a number of articles on the topic in publications including DM Review and Directions Magazine.

Prior to joining IDV, he was director of technology solutions for Universal Map, a map publisher and distributor, and senior consultant for BBK Ltd. / Anderson Economic Group a consulting firm specializing in economics, finance, and public policy.

Clemens holds a degree in Applied Mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and master's degree in Christian Studies from Regent College, Vancouver, BC.

He co-founded IDV Solutions with CEO Mark Morrison in 2004.

Mark Morrison

Chief Executive Officer

Mark Morrison is the CEO for IDV Solutions. With his expertise in software, technology solutions, marketing, sales force development, management and leadership, Mark leads the company's overall efforts in business vision, growth and expansion. He has spent the last twenty five years working with Global 1000 companies delivering productivity technology solutions, all aimed at improving performance and ROI.

Prior to IDV Solutions, Morrison co-founded Strategic Interactive Inc., a successful technology company. Strategic Interactive created web-based, large-scale training and human resource systems for government and Fortune 500 companies. Strategic Interactive grew to 126 people in 7 years.

Mark holds a degree in Liberal Studies from Western Michigan University.

He co-founded IDV Solutions with CTO Ian Clemens in 2004.

John Dougherty

Vice President of Operations

John Dougherty is the Vice President of Operations for IDV Solutions. In this role, he oversees all product and project development activities, from pre-sales planning through completion. John also provides general business oversight and directs the work of IDV’s general counsel.

John began his career with AT&T Bell Laboratories (now Lucent) and has over twenty-five years of technical management experience. Before joining IDV Solutions, he was a project manager for a five-year $36 million enterprise application development effort. In prior organizations, John has held leadership roles in software product development and systems integration companies.

Dougherty holds a degree in Computer Programming Science from Michigan State University, and a master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan. He is also a PMP (Project Management Professional) as certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI).

Scott Caulk

Vice President of Product Management

Scott Caulk is the Vice President of Product Management for IDV Solutions. In this role, he serves as the primary messenger to and for the market as it relates to IDV’s products, and helps to manage the feature set and release to market of those products.

Caulk has 10 years of IT experience as a developer, project manager, and product manager. Prior to IDV Solutions, he held IT roles at Northrup Grumman, Universal Studios, among others.

In addition to graduating with honors and earning an MBA from Michigan State University’s Eli Broad Graduate School of Management, Scott also holds a master’s degree in Education from Azusa Pacific University. He also recently received his Pragmatic Marketing certification in Product Management.

Dan Shaver

Vice President of Sales, Commercial

As Vice President of Commercial Sales for IDV Solutions, Dan Shaver leads the IDV Commercial team in its pursuit of the Global 2000. Shaver and his team target innovative organizations who seek to better manage their sales and marketing operations, supply chain visibility, or enterprise risk with the power of Visual Fusion.

Prior to IDV Solutions, Dan was the Director of Business Development for an automotive supplier.

Shaver earned a degree in Finance and Administration from Judson College in Elgin, Illinois.

Chris Fisher

Director of Design

Chris Fisher is the Director of Design at IDV Solutions. He oversees the graphic design of IDV’s marketing materials and products.

Prior to IDV, Fisher was an Interactive Services Director and Art Director at software companies and marketing communication studios, where he worked with many of the world’s biggest brands. He has a decade of expertise in user experience design, new media, and marketing communication, allowing him to solve a wide variety of design challenges, such as putting the user first.

Chris earned his degree from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, with a focus on sequential art and graphic design.

George F. Siegle

Director of Marketing

George F. Siegle is the Director of Marketing for IDV Solutions. Siegle and the marketing team are responsible for developing and executing marketing strategy and tactics, including advertising, social media, Web, e-Mail, and other marketing communications.

Siegle brings more than twenty years of strategy, marketing management, and product innovation expertise to IDV Solutions, including technology marketing experience at Deneba Software and Microsoft. Prior to IDV Solutions, he held marketing and product innovation roles at Tria Marketing & Design, Michigan Economic Development Corporation, and Delta Dental of Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana.

Siegle earned an M.B.A. from the Eli Broad Graduate School of Management at Michigan State University. He also received his degree in Hospitality Business from MSU. Siegle is certified as a New Product Development Professional (NPDP) from the Product Development and Management Association.

Amy Cavanaugh

General Counsel

Amy Cavanaugh is the General Counsel for IDV Solutions. In this role, she is responsible for establishing new contracts with outside organizations and administering existing ones, employment issues, human resources, benefits, insurance, and other legal issues.

Prior to IDV Solutions, Amy was the General Counsel for the Lansing Board of Water and Light. At BWL, she was responsible for all the Board’s legal services, including managing all litigation, responding to internal requests for legal services, advising the Board of Commissioners, and supervising outside and staff counsel. She was a member of Executive Management.

Cavanaugh holds a degree in Political Science and English from Rutgers College, Rutgers University and received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver, College of Law. Licensed in both Michigan and Colorado, she has been a practicing attorney since 1994.
