Welcome to the City of Brampton Interactive Map, part of an award-winning Web portal, and built with our flagship software product: Visual Fusion.

About the Interactive Map

The City of Brampton in Ontario, Canada, created this public facing interactive map using Visual Fusion's out-of-the-box capabilities. It pulls dozens of data sources into a single view, all artfully styled for maximum communication to the site users.

From roadwork, zoning, and public meetings, to dining and shopping opportunities, the website serves residents and visitors alike, with an interface that's won praise for its clarity and ease of use.

Just as important, City workers are easily able to update maps and online information for their departments, freeing the City's GIS department for higher value work.

5 Fun Things to Do with Brampton's Interactive Map

  1. Search for a vacant location for your next big venture. Expand the Economic Development section, and turn on the Vacant Land Selection layer. Use the interactive filters to find available properties by type and lot size.
  2. Check out a live camera feed. Under In the Neighborhood, turn on BRAMCams. Click on one of the icons to see live video in the Details Panel.
  3. See where the traffic is. Expand the Economic Development and Traffic Volumes sections. Turn on the different traffic feeds; then zoom in and tilt the map to compare the extrusions.
  4. Find a place where you can have a ball (on the field, that is). Under In the Neighborhood, expand the Parks section; then zoom in and expand the Park Features. Use the checkboxes to find soccer fields, tennis courts, and other recreational facilities.
  5. Find some fun. Under Arts, Culture, Tourism, expand Tourism Brampton, and find local attractions, dining, shopping and more.
