Composer is a GUI for adding data sources to your Visual Fusion applications and
styling them to promote insight for the app users.
Composer
automatically discovers all content connected to Visual Fusion, be it in SharePoint,
a database like SQL Server, or Web feeds from the cloud. Application creators can
then choose which data sources they want to use in each app, arrange them in a meaningful
hierarchy, and style each one individually to benefit the application end users.
Composer gives numerous basic and advanced styling options to application creators.
A rich palette of icons and colors give users tremendous flexibility in representing
data, and users can even upload their own icons for rapid inclusion in the app.
Some of the advanced styling options include assigning colors or icons to different
ranges of data values, and surrounding points or lines with visual buffer zones
whose size is based on underlying data values.
Heat maps can be created with a wide choice of themes and the ability to
vary intensity based on underlying values. Inclusion in the
timeline viewer, clustering large data sets at higher zoom levels, using
radio buttons or check boxes for groups of feeds, and many other styling options
are available as well.
The bottom line is that anyone in an organization can use this no-code tool to quickly
build compelling, valuable mashups of organizational, departmental, and cloud-based
content. Respond quickly to a need with a situational app, or construct a long-lived
mission critical system; both are possible with Visual Fusion.
