Configurable alerts monitor Visual Command Center’s included global incident data feeds for incidents like terrorism, weather, and hazmat to identify risks near the things you care about: people, assets, your supply chain, or other places. Alerts appear in the map, timeline, and alert panel, and can be sent via e-mail.

Identify Risk: Ground Level

Easily load floor plans and position them on the map. Click on a camera to launch a live video feed using the camera’s Web control client. See the status of doors, card readers, alarms, and other systems. Give first responders an edge with mobile access to interior plans and exit locations for multiple floors.

Identify Risk: Distribution, Networks and Areas

More than just points on a map, Visual Command Center also visualizes line and polygon data. Use integrated data connectors to visualize supply routes, distribution lines, or networks. Or load and plot polygon data such as sales territories, jurisdictions, property boundaries, or your own “no-fly zone.”

Track severe weather that can threaten people and property with more than 36 weather data feeds, including: radar, hurricanes, temperatures, rain, ice, snow, wind, and more. Visual Command Center includes current and predictive weather from Weather Central. Live traffic video for over 200 cities and current traffic conditions for more than 26 countries is included.

Only Visual Command Center lets you track risk and incidents down to the second, or zoom out for a long-term view. Focus on current, recent, or historical incidents by using the intuitive, interactive timeline sliders as a data filter for risk alerts or incidents.

Select from the library of business intelligence widgets to instantly interrogate and analyze your data. Visual Command Center’s analysis tools sum up square feet affected, number of employees, and other data.

Interrogate Threats: Spatial Queries

Draw your search area on the map, and immediately get information on all of your assets in the threatened area. Initiate action by instantly emailing all the building managers affected by an oncoming hurricane, or create a list of all the employees that live within 50 miles of an earthquake’s epicenter.

Initiate Action: Communicate and Collaborate

An Excel formatted Risk Report instantly summarizes risks, assets, and people in harm’s way. Save it to a SharePoint work space and collaborate with members of your team. The Risk Report also includes a snapshot of the current view.
