Expanding Our Partner Channel

We are excited to announce the recent addition of two system integrator companies to our Visual Fusion partner network: Stonebridge, headquartered in Houston, Texas, and Applied Knowledge Group, headquartered in Reston, Virginia. Both of these Microsoft partner companies specialize in SharePoint portal deployments, and allow us to meet the needs of our customers in deploying and servicing their Visual Fusion solutions.

Visual Fusion Helps the United Nations Track Telecom Development

IDV Solutions is working with Microsoft and the International Telecommunications Union (ITU), a leading United Nations agency for information and communication technologies, to create a global view of the telecommunications network. ITU Global View is an online visual composite application to track and help accelerate implementation of the goals of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) in Africa. It provides high-level decision makers with a unified view of the current telecommunications infrastructure, related projects, and supplemental demographic data.

We have just posted a Silverlight 2.0 map viewer that pulls in Virtual Earth map imagery and lets you navigate their map. In March, IDV Solutions welcomed Scott Parker to its executive team as Vice President of Sales and Channels. The new leadership hire reflects the posture for growth as our products and services are in demand in a variety of business sectors, particularly in the federal government. Parker is based out of the new IDV Solutions Washington DC based office. The fast adoption of Visual Fusion Suite by the federal government has required a local presence to work directly with customers, system integrators and technology partners in the DC area.
